MAME cabinet, inner end pieces for console

Spackle, sand, spackle, sand sand sand..

Inner end pieces of the console spackled, sanded and ready for paint!

Inner end pieces painted and installed.

Painted surface doesn’t really match the ‘showroom shine’ of the acrylic, but whatever. I’ll rather keep my eyes on the screen than the end pieces while using the cabinet ;)

The dents visible on the previous picture will be covered by the outer pieces, so I didn’t bother filling/sanding them up. The slight dipping on the long edges of the acrylic is pretty well visible too. That’s what you get if shaping acrylic without decent supports which to bend against.

Outer end pieces to follow..
